GOVERNED EXCHANGE | AVAILABLE TO DEMO
LINC
Know what was authorised, what was accepted and what reached the destination.
LINC, Linked Intelligence Network Communications, provides governed exchange between authorised systems. It manages message contracts, routing and transfer state while connected products retain responsibility for their information and decisions. Available now for customer demonstrations.

Product Type
Governed messaging and exchange
Product Code
LINC
Deployment
Broker, Gateway, Node, Link and Console components selected for the agreed exchange.
Key Differentiator
An accountable transfer record that separates message acceptance, authorisation, export, import and destination delivery.
Connect systems with clear transfer responsibilities
A network connection does not explain whether a message was authorised, retained safely or accepted by its destination. LINC provides a record of those separate events. Versioned envelopes carry the identifiers, provenance, handling information and integrity data needed to inspect the exchange.
LINC is available now for customer demonstrations within AIC Intelligence Constellation. Read the governed exchange guide and explore the LINC product site.
Make delivery failures and changing permissions visible
An interrupted connection, repeated message or changed recipient permission can leave an integration in an uncertain state. Operators need to know what has been retained, why a transfer is held and whether repeating it could repeat a business action. Information owners need evidence of the authority applied to the route.
Define the contract and follow the message
Start with the producer, consumer, message type, purpose and acceptance criteria. LINC separates durable acceptance from destination delivery, with bounded retries and protected handling for messages that cannot complete. At-least-once delivery requires idempotent receiving processes so repeated transport does not repeat the same business action.
Store-and-forward supports interrupted connections, with current policy and peer identity checked before forwarding resumes. A message is held when the required policy is unavailable. The LINC evaluation scenario tests these conditions with approved demonstration data.
Prove the exchange your organisation needs
A useful demonstration covers acceptance, an unavailable policy response, revoked permissions, an interrupted connection, a repeated message and durable destination acknowledgement. Record the supported contract, components, releases and operator responsibilities, then price implementation and support against that evidence.
NERVE retains source holdings and provenance, CORTEX retains intelligence workflow and release authority, and PULSE retains its assessment editions. The Constellation architecture explains those relationships. Contact AIC or email commercial@aicuk.ltd to arrange a LINC demonstration.
Approve each information flow
Protected transport and permission to release information are separate requirements. Cross-domain use needs approved gateways, policies and accreditation for the named flow. Export and import decisions remain distinct, and delivery requires durable acknowledgement at the destination.
MARKER supplies the related marking and information-flow policy context, while SHACE supplies protected transport for an approved route. These relationships do not grant release authority. Confirm the originator, exact content and receiving permissions as part of the proposed exchange.
Capabilities
Versioned immutable envelopes; provenance and handling metadata; durable acceptance; publish/subscribe, queues and request-reply; bounded retries; idempotent processing; policy checks; delivery acknowledgement.
Integrations
Named producer and consumer contracts, with the required identity, permissions, handling rules and destination behaviour agreed for each flow.
Identity Support
Peer and recipient identity checked against the applicable route and current policy.
Data Residency
Message storage, retention and route locations agreed for the selected environment.
Encryption
Approved protected transport and endpoint configuration assessed for each named route.
