Ezilo: ANPR parking management across sites, permits and payments

Manage vehicle events, parking sessions, permits and payments with Ezilo. Explore AIC parking software and arrange a demonstration for your sites.

Parking operators need a reliable account of what happened at a site: which vehicle arrived, which permit or tariff applied, how long the session lasted and what payment or follow-up is due. When those records sit in separate systems, staff spend time resolving differences before they can deal with the customer or site issue.

Ezilo brings automatic number plate recognition, parking policies, permits, sessions and payment management into an operator platform. It is part of AICโ€™s commercial product portfolio and is live and available now for customer demonstrations.

Connect vehicle events to the parking record

Ezilo processes vehicle events from automatic number plate recognition, commonly called ANPR, and uses them in session management. The operator can relate the vehicle to a site, permit and applicable policy. The Ezilo project overview describes this connection between detection, session records and the management interface.

A demonstration should begin with a defined site and representative event sequence. Follow the arrival, any applicable permit and the recorded departure. Inspect how the session is represented and which policy was used. The important question is whether staff can explain the resulting record without reconstructing it from several tools.

Configure the rules for each site

The platform supports configurable tariffs, permit types and enforcement rules. That matters where an operator manages sites with different arrangements, such as a mixed-use development, visitor parking or a subscription-based car park. The policy needs to reflect the agreed operation at each location.

Ezilo also separates customer or operator environments and provides role-based access and audit records. Include that separation in the demonstration: show which sites and records a particular user may inspect or change. A shared management platform still needs clear boundaries between the organisations using it.

Keep payment and session information connected

The published scope includes monthly, ad-hoc and multi-vehicle subscriptions, with billing and invoicing. Payment integration is part of the platform design. A useful evaluation follows the relationship between a parking session, the charge or entitlement applied and the payment information available to the operator.

Agree which payment routes and account arrangements the demonstration covers. Ask how staff investigate an exception and where the relevant records are held. The operational process should be assessed alongside the technical connection, including the people responsible for review and correction.

Examine reporting and external interfaces

Ezilo provides dashboards for occupancy, session trends and policy-related activity. It also exposes integration interfaces for systems such as enforcement, customer management and payments. The required data exchange should be defined for the particular systems and accounts involved.

The platformโ€™s published scope includes violation events and evidence packs for third-party processing. That gives an operator material to review within its own authorised process. The evaluation should establish what the record contains, which policy it refers to and how a staff member can trace it back to the underlying event.

Test the workflow before estimating the benefit

Choose a small set of representative cases: a valid permit, an ordinary paid session and an exception requiring investigation. Run them against the proposed site policy. Check the event, session, charge and audit records, then ask a colleague unfamiliar with the demonstration to explain the result.

The illustrative Ezilo parking workflow evaluation sets out proposed checks. It gives the discussion a practical structure without presenting fictional vehicle movements as a customer deployment or measured improvement.

Ezilo uses a cloud service architecture. Hosting, retention, access, camera interfaces and payment connections need to be scoped for the intended operation. AIC can explain the relevant configuration and integration work during the demonstration and commercial discussion.

Compare the work your operation can avoid

The cost case depends on how much manual reconciliation, permit administration and system integration the agreed configuration removes. Compare platform and support charges with the current tools, interfaces and staff effort. Include onboarding, site configuration and exception handling so the proposal reflects the whole operation.

Arrange an Ezilo demonstration with AIC. Bring the number and type of sites, ANPR equipment, permit arrangements, tariffs and payment systems you use. AIC can then show the relevant workflow and scope the platform around your parking operation.
